Lynn | Owner
In 1984, Lynn started her casting career with Marc Schwartz Casting. To this day, it is Marc whom she credits with not only teaching her the ropes, but also translating her love of acting and actors into a career in which she could thrive.
After three years of assisting for the Aaron Spelling hit shows, “Dynasty” and “The Colby’s”, Lynn was looking to move on. This time, the Windy City was calling and she became the head film/television agent at Harrise Davidson & Assoc. During her tenure, she had the good fortune to work with some of Chicago’s best (Steve Carrell, Mike Myers, Bonnie Hunt, Johnny Galecki and Laura Flynn Boyle) while continuing her education in the business.
Finally, home was calling and life came full circle when Lynn opened her doors and hung the shingle “LBC” in 1989.
For almost 30 years she has worked from the same warehouse space it all started. She plans on hanging around for a while.
LJ | Associate
LJ has been a writer since she could pick up a pen. While living in Los Angeles, she had pilots in development with companies such as Angry Films (The Transformers franchise) and Beacon Pictures (Castle). She also wrote a feature-length children's film, "Little Savages", which was produced and released worldwide in 2016.
A true Midwesterner at heart, LJ moved away from the hustle and bustle of La La Land to be closer to her family, and she has been obsessed with casting ever since. She loves working with talent and helping everyone achieve their full potential. In her spare time, she writes novels and chills at home with her toddler, Zelda (and her husband [he makes commercials too]).
Melinda | Casting Assistant
Melinda Kordich is an actor / voiceover artist who has had way too many years in this business to admit, and she’s loved every single one of them. Everything from stage, TV, film, radio, and improv to voice work she’s been there, done that and is so happy to support her fellow actors.
Zelda | Business Development
Zelda enjoys a good challenge, whether it’s client outreach or scaling furniture. She is always on the go and striving for bigger and better things. Her favorite part of working at LBC is the candy. On days off she enjoys dressing up as all the Disney® Princesses and being her own superfan.
Brittany | Casting Assistant
Brittany Parker is a musical theater, film and commercial actress here in the Twin Cities. Originally from Philadelphia, she doesn't let her love of the sometimes disappointing Sixers hold her back from enjoying life; she can frequently be spotted canoeing or running around Lake Nokomis with her dog, movie watching, hiking, cooking, geocaching and attending concerts/shows (not all at the same time).
Darby | Accounting
Darby earned his ‘Canine Good Citizenship’ diploma in 2010. His love for accounting transpired after listening to his mom complain she couldn’t buy him the expensive dog food he loved. Needless to say, he now eats Kangaroo and Venison in the can and makes sure there is always good coffee and lattes available in the new kitchen at LBC for clients.
